From an idea to a machine of our own
It all began with a vision – an idea that became reality through hard work, real passion and a steady sense of purpose. It is the foundation of our success and our growth.
How it all started
NEUMEIER GmbH was founded in 1991 – at that time still in a different line of business. The first container from China still brings back memories of our beginnings in the construction machinery trade.
In 2003 we started trading in used construction machinery; a year later the first new machines followed. In 2006 came the licence agreements for the European market: from then on the machines were built to ISO 9001 and developed specifically for western markets.

The moment our vision became reality: row upon row, the first machines stood in the yard – ready for their new owners.
If you want to earn trust, you have to be seen
With every step we moved forward – not only with our products, but also with the profile of the brand. So we went to the trade fairs: to the big ones such as bauma in Munich and to international specialist shows alike.

bauma in Munich is the largest construction trade fair in the world and a symbol of standing in the industry – so we had to be there. We have exhibited at every bauma since 2007.

Success is the result of good cooperation
In 2016 our cooperation with Sunward began – committed marketing and a close partnership made the brand well known in Germany. Working together and sharing experience matter to us: we visit our partners and welcome them just as warmly to our own site.
The road to a machine of our own
After eight successful years of cooperation it was time for the next step: developing our own machine line further. It became clear to us that our future must not depend on outside suppliers – we chose independence and started producing our own machines.
Thanks to many years of experience, improvements are fed in continuously so that the machines meet the highest quality standards and fit exactly what our customers need.
The road to complete independence
Knowing how strong we and our dealers are, we decided to take a new road. Today NEUMEIER machines are at work in 15 countries – built to our own specifications.
Our vision was the beginning – and it is far from finished.
What once started with a container and an idea is a strong brand today. We now stand at a point where, together with our partners, we can achieve great things. Our products, our commitment and our dealers are the foundation for further growth.
